The plant will reach its maximum height and girth after a single season of growth, which can be close to 100 feet tall and 8 inches wide. Too fast! My neighbours planted some and now the stuff infests my London garden. Don't get me wrong, I like bamboo - but not springing up at irregular intervals on my lawn. any tips for getting rid of it?

I tryed to grow bamboo from seeds. But they never sprouted ( is it the right word?)
